Paperwork. There were stacks and stacks. And stacks of it. Everywhere. Arthur's eye twitched as he stared at the mess that was at his station. Someone that day was probably going to die a painful death. A very. Painful. Death. Since when did he get all the paper dumped on his desk? When!? It wasn't fair! He groaned and rubbed his temples. He was just going to back away slowly. This wasn't his day. As he looked around the department, he noticed a lot of paperwork at every station.
Every. Station.
...There usually wasn't this much paper normally. Something didn't feel right at all. With a raised eyebrow in question, he pulled a hair tie off of his wrist and pulled his hair back into a ponytail. His hands fell to rest on his hips as he he looked around. Actually...it was rather abandoned too. A chill ran up his spine. Oh no! It couldn't be! With a gasp, he ran to the first stack of paper and turned it over before paling. The paper was...blank.
A prank. Oh yes. Arthur Fox was certainly going to kill someone today. His eye twitched as he turned around just as the door opened. And he was pretty sure there his victim was. Oh this was going to be fun.

Don't understand, can't understand just what you see A pioneer, a vagabond or just a case of charity Zaine had nothing to do today. He had nothing at all to do. No mission, not even a tiny mission a grunt would do. Every was taken, every little tiny thing to do. He wasn't complain, oh no. Zaine was just so use to working that he had got up this morning to go report in. The last few days hadn't been good with his bed time. They had to send a grunt in on Thursday to make sure he got out of bed. They told Zaine the grunt with in the hospital wing, and that as a Special Ops he better wisen-up. So this morning he got up and had nothing to do. So he killed time. He sent his good friend Artie a lot of paper work. He couldn't help to hide the smirk he had on his face as he walked down the hall way to the office. This was going to be good.
Zaine opened the door and marched in, waving happily at his dear friend. "So how are you on this busy day." he asked, strutting over where Artie had sat. "I see you guys are busy bees, seems like there is no lighten up your work load." Yup, Artie looked pissed. Zaine smile lighten up a bit, and he stuffed his hands into his over sized pockets. Taking out one hand he tapped the desk softly, deciding not to shift through the piles of paper. "But I had nothing to do today, nothing at all." Zaine added, a fake frown appeared on his face. He sighed and shook his head. "I so should have slept in today."

Arthur's eye twitched when Zaine opened the door. It was that damn brat! He should've guessed. That brat was going to get a spanking one of these days. He was already imagining turning the boy over his knee for a good whooping. He growled lowly at the other agent. One day...one day. He put his arm up on his desk and resisted the urge to smash his head against the wooden surface. Why did the General have to be out today of all days? He put his head in his hand and glared at Zaine. Evil...little...brat.
"What do you want brat?" Arthur asked coldly. Yup, he was already plotting the younger man's death. Would he salute to an operative who was higher than him but oh so much more annoying than his own partner? Hell no! Then again, Emilio demanded that he salute...he rubbed his temples. Stupid brat had nearly given him a heart attack with all the blank paper. Stupid trick. He rubbed his temples as he looked up at Zaine from under his bangs. "What do you want brat? Unlike you, I'm busy and I can't be bothered to babysit." he growled out.

Don't understand, can't understand just what you see A pioneer, a vagabond or just a case of charity Zaine rolled his eyes, resisting the little devil on his shoulder that said to pick at the little scars that Arthur might have. Maybe his digging his own grave wasn't a bright idea today. He scoffed slightly, and pulled the nearest chair -it was still an arm length away- towards him. Zaine sat down, spun around, and put his feet and a nice clear area on Arthur's desk that had little paper he would destroy. "Thanks but no thanks. I would hate to be babysat by you. You would probably put me to bed and seven without supper." Zaine sighed heavily and rested his head on his palm.
"You might just mess up the kids mind, like change the ankle bitter to be all girlishly and sissy." Zaine shuddered slightly, pretending to be afraid. He shook his head questioningly, a smirk slowly crept onto his face. "And is it so bad to visit my best-est buddy Artie?" he asked his upper lip quivered in a pout. He quickly wiped the pout of his face, and stared of into the distant absent mindlessly, thinking of recent events. He wasn't paying any more attention to Arthur at the moment, only to the thoughts that engulfed his mind.

Evil...little...brat. Even when they were kids together in London Zaine had been a little brat that caused Arthur's temper to get the best of him more then he liked to admit. Then he joined Os and he was free from the annoyance. And then there was Zaine. Arthur's eye twitched at the thought. Little brat. He frowned and sighed heavily. What was he supposed to do with Zaine when he was bored? Take the pranks and such? Oh no. He dealt with that enough when they were kids. At Zaine's comment on putting him to bed without supper, Arthur snorted and took off his glasses and chewed on them absentmindedly. "Oh no, I'd feed you like a good babysitter. And give you your bath and tuck you into bed. Oh wait, I did that all the time when we were kids, didn't I?" Arthur mused with a dark chuckle.
He sighed and leaned back in his chair when Zaine talked about changing an ankle biter to being sissy and girly. Yup, next training session he had with Zaine, he was going to try and crack the kid's skull open. Or at least sit on him. Sitting on him actually sounded fun. Arthur sighed when Zaine pouted. Oh that kid knew him too well. Just like he knew the younger too well. With a sigh, he reached out and ruffled Zaine's hair. "What's on your mind, kid?" he asked quietly.

Don't understand, can't understand just what you see A pioneer, a vagabond or just a case of charity "Life." Zaine muttered, looking over at Arthur soberly. "Doesn't that bug everyone, and anyone at the same time? No surprise it has decided to knock on my door." he added, lifting up his hands, and shrugging his shoulder. He gave a light smile, and went back to leaning on his chair and staring off into the distant. "I'll ignore your childish comment." he add, shaking his head. "I think your hair is slowly changing you to be more girlish, so then you think it ok to bring up past events, like how you fed me when I was young. Only mothers, and girls remember that part of the past."
"But I shall forgive you for the most part." he added after a moment or too of his silence. "life does suck. You know?" Zaine asked, removing his feet from the on top on the desk. He leaned his elbows on the top, then softly rested his head on his out stretched palm. "How is your life going. "Still hate your Partner?" Zaine asked, chuckling slightly. "I compare you guys to an old married couple. " he added with a nod as he though about it. "Sometimes it gets worse then what Dakota and I get into." Somethings things need to stay behind closed doors. Mostly his relationship with Dakota. A lot of the times he didn't even referee to her as a sister.
