The wound of machinery hard at work- it was exactly what Raven liked to hear. If he could hear the computer whirring and all of the cables snapping into place, it meant that his coworkers weren't slacking... as much as usual. Not that he needed them anyway though; after all, without his genius, this project would have never come to fruition! Heck, his superiors had said just as much.
Now it was time to boot her up- literally. The result was a female test specimen. "Alright, let's see what you can do, Yoko," the short techy murmured, flipping a nearby switch. With that, a nearby case lit up in a variety of lights, before finally going dark again. "Blast! What the heck went wrong!?" Raven cursed, muttering many a swear under his breath. The machines had stopped working, but he couldn't seem to figure out why. The circuits had simply stopped sending power to the specimen.

The Angel of the OS was slumbering in the case, not yet awakened, but she stirred when the tech flipped the switch to on and the case began to whir and hum. As it did so blue screens could be seen hovering above the case, showing different angles of the specimen inside, the blue areas were okay, but flashing red parts would be errors. It took the case awhile to comply, but it began to hum again. The top of the case began to shift upwards revealing what is inside. It was silent after that, inside Yoko was turning on. Her eyes, blank and a dark brown began to stir to a bright red her visual functions and her other systems turning on in the process. Her eyes looked around her surroundings, quite cramped in here, but it looked as if she could shift her body to a standing position so she did. Her hands moved, grasping the sides of the case and stood, getting out of the case. Yoko was not naked, true, but she did have on a body suit instead, thin and tight. Cables and such detached from the opening in her skin, them closing and virtually disappearing. She looked finally at Raven, she labeled him as ‘Unknown’ for she did not know his name or who ‘created’ her for that matter. She just stood there and looked at him, waiting for some kind of response to her awakening.

Raven fumbled with the wires and the control interface, trying to figure out what had gone wrong. As he looked at the result output, however, he noticed that most of the systems seemed to be functioning just fine. The only ones that weren't were those involving Subject Yoko. In a confused fit, he smashed his hand against the computer screen, only wishing he had the physical strength to do anything to it. Grunting with exasperation, the man typed furiously away at the keyboard. Across the screen flashed the words, "Test A1- severe failure. Mechanical error is the cause. Further enhancements are necessary. I will look into the matter personally. The others are obviously not anywhere near competent enough to see this through."
As Raven turned around to examine the machinery again, however, he saw that Subject Yoko had instead awoken, and was fully functioning on her own. "What!? That wasn't supposed to happen! How is this thing functioning on its own already? Bah, it's of no consequence," he muttered to himself, throwing his clipboard at the screen. She had removed the cables and everything. So that was what had caused the skewed results. "Yoko... You weren't supposed to be ready yet!. I was still doing enhancements on you! Your actions caused the test results to go awry!" he exclaimed in frustration.
"No matter... Tell me, how do you feel? I need to gather your input so that I can make further adjustments, and better configure your AI and psyche," Raven explained, watching the specimen with curiosity. Bah... A blatant failure, it seems. She functions too much on her own. Probably going to have to scrap her...[/center]

Yoko listened to his words, but her eyes were elsewhere, busily looking and studying the layout of the place, he seemed quite angry with her though, and because of this anger Yoko looked at him blankly at him spouting out things of her design and that she shouldn’t be functional and that she needs enhancements before she can be released, regardless she felt semi-normal. Yoko gently shook her head, forming opinions in her mind of her functionality. “Does not compute… My functionality is of my own conscious doing. I was booted up, and because of that command I am functional. I do not comprehend…why you are in a distressed mood right now if this is what you desired.” Yoko looked down at her hands for a moment, moving them as well. “I am operating at 65% efficiency currently. Systems are operational; however…combat systems have been turned off due to the risk of injury if triggered by negative stimuli to myself and possibly others. However, I have manifested a sort of relief from having a certain extent of ‘freedom’. Being Operational is more pleasing and satisfying then ‘sleeping’.” “Is this sufficient enough input for your question?”
